Pease bring a CASH payment to your appointment, I prefer not to take card, PayPal or bank transfer
DO NOT
- Do not drink alcohol for the 48 hours before your appointment. Alcohol thins your blood, making you bleed a lot. This makes the process of tattooing more difficult for me and it may affect the tattoo.
- Do not use numbing cream without speaking to me about it. It can affect the tattoo process and the healing.
- Do not arrive early or late for your appointment, arrive at the time given on your booking.
- Do not plan an event for after your tattoo as I can't always control if the appointment time runs over. I won't rush your tattoo so please allow for plenty of time for public transport.
DO
- Eat a good meal before your appointment, you need to have eaten or you can start to feel faint.
- Drink plenty of water in the coming weeks leading up to your appointment so the skin is hydrated.
- Bring snacks with you, anything carb dense or sugary is always good. Bring a lunch with you for day sessions.
- Let me know about existing tattoos in the area I need to work around
- Bring photo ID
- Let me know if it’s your first tattoo
- Please shower before your appointment, wear deodorant and clean clothes.
- Wear easy access items of clothing depending on the placement. For eg. side tie bikini bottoms are ideal for upper thigh/hip/ side tattoos. Cardigans are good to keep arms warm if stomach or chest is exposed. Get in touch if you need help with what to wear.
- Please come alone to your appointment as we are a small studio and don’t have facilities to host non clients in our space. If you require additional physical or emotional support I’m happy to accommodate to your needs.
DEPOSIT POLICY
- If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment within 7 days of your appointment date you will need to pay new deposit.
- You can reschedule once under the same deposit with more than a week’s notice but after that you will have to pay your deposit again.
- Your deposit is non refundable if you decide you don’t want to be tattooed anymore.
- If you tap out before the tattoo is complete you still pay for your full or partial price quote to compensate for the time booked in my diary, this will depend how far through we are, amount paid is decided on a case by case basis.
- Especially large or complicated pieces will occasionally spread over into another session as I can’t always give a completely accurate time estimate so be prepared to roll over your deposit to another session. for eg. if I quote £550 for a day session and it's not finished in a day we may need an additional few hours which will be in addition to the original quote.
- If you tap out you will need to pay a new deposit and an additional payment to complete ongoing work, to pay for booking more time in my diary.
- If you leave it longer than 6 months between paying your deposit and being tattooed your deposit is no longer valid.
- If I cancel your appointment I will offer a full deposit refund or the option to choose a new date to reschedule the appointment if you'd still like to be tattooed by me.
- Please ask me if you have questions about your deposit or any other payment enquiries.
DESIGN
- I don’t have time to draw designs in advance, you’ll see the design on the day of your appointment and if you’d like to make any changes we can tweak it together during your appointment time until you’re 100% happy. Communicating about design changes is clearer in person.
- All flash is repeatable unless discussed otherwise. I can make a flash piece unique, just for you, if you ask.
- Please always tell me if you’re not happy with the design, it’s your body and I want you to be happy.
- If you have a complete change of design, I will need more than 7 days notice. If you change your mind on the day I will apply a £50 drawing fee for the second design.
PRE TATTOO MEDICAL INFO:
- Let me know if you have a pacemaker
- I can’t tattoo you if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding
- I can’t tattoo you if you have haemophilia
- Make me aware of any skin conditions, scarring or especially mole heavy skin (not freckles just raised moles)
- I can’t tattoo you if you’re on blood thinning medication
- It is your responsibility to contact your doctor prior to booking in your appointment to discuss medication or medical conditions that effect skin, blood and immune system to be certain it’s safe for you to be tattooed
- Touch ups on palms, soles of feet, side of the hands and feet (not including full hand and full foot pieces. specifically side only placement) are free for 1 touch up and then a £50 deposit is required for additional touch ups
- All other touch ups are free
- The studio is wheelchair accessible however the toilet is not so for longer appointments please get in touch and we can discuss options.

PARKING
Free all day parking, a short walk from Lucky Rat. Make sure you park at Forest sports zone and not the Forest park & ride by mistake because you have to pay for the park & ride..
